I am Dr S Rekha Reddy, a passionate Montessorian, educating children and training teachers in the Montessori method of education. Vidyanjali Academy for Learning, my brainchild, started in 1992, is renowned for its Montessori Method of education. Ever since teaching and training as a Montessori teacher and teacher trainer in Vidyanjali. I am excited to inspire teachers to enjoy the teaching-learning process and discover the child capable of creating his future. I have trained four batches of teachers in Montessori Primary Diploma and two batches in Pre-primary Montessori Diploma, in association with Indian Institute for Montessori Studies. I have also conducted several Certificate Courses, workshops and seminars. I have been conferred Doctorate for the thesis Play in early childhood education, a comparative study between Montessori and non-Montessori educational approaches, under Dr Prof Choodamani Nandagopal, a distinguished Art Historian from Jain University. My books, Nanna Kannada Pustaka Bhaaga 1 & 2, My First Book, Meri Pehli Kitab, are widely used in Montessori and Traditional schools. I have translated Maria Montessori articles and a book, 'What you should know about your child', to Kannada published by Sapna Book House. I believe Beautiful childhood leads to a beautiful world.
